Gameplay

AoD is tower defense game with some new features. First of all, monsters have real size, they cant go through themselves. So you interrupt enemy goal by either building towers and creating obstacles on the path. Secondary, there is extensive choice of towers with incredible abilities. What do you prefer? Big monkey with bouncing poison bones or belligerent woman with exploding flowers straddles the huge rainbow toad? Tower defense genre has always been one of the best choice to pass the time, and this game is a good product in the tower defense game. Age of Defense - is a nice game for several evenings which can give a lot of fun.

Age of Defense - game in the ancient era setting. Devs promise to give 5 different worlds, I saw just 2. They are very colorful and diverse. I liked the battle with the Boss at third level, it was unexpected for me. Considering that it's early access. I give it a 8\/10. 7\/10. This is early access, Ok, I can understand that, but also there is quite a range of interpretations of early access and this game is horrible in its current state. The animations aren't done well. The enemies are not interesting in any way; they are quite small, also, so you can't see too much details. The description of the enemies, when you click on them, doesn't fit in the style of the game etc. etc. etc.

But this is my personal taste; there are quite some more objective flaws like the strange position of the symbols how to choose your "tower", they are placed where enemies come through, so you can't interact with them in this region with your trap.

I've been playing Tower defense games for many years now.
The graphic style reminded me strong of Kingdom Rush, but, don't you be fooled.
If the finished game will be a whole other game: OK. If it stays like that, it will, in my opinion, be one of the most boring experiences in TowerDefense ever.
It didn't even get me interested in finishing the first level. You already can upgrade, but for what, for absolutely lame towers?

Normally I just would stay quiet and request my refund, but after reading all these positive reviews: you gotta be kidding me! Have theyl all been bribed? Here I really can't understand how someone would find this game playable in its current state or even like it.
